Research shows there is limited engagement with behavioral healthcare, with many individuals going without the care they need and deserve. Guide+Thrive is a cutting-edge solution, that provides individuals with personalized access to behavioral healthcare; high-touch, concierge behavioral health support, care planning and navigation is delivered telephonically, virtually, and/or in-person at client work sites.

This position works directly with a passionate, supportive, mission-driven team, focused on improving the experience for those seeking behavioral health care and emotional support.

Position Description:

The Sales Associate is responsible for growing our business, with ownership of the full sales cycle. Our customers are high-performance professional firms consisting of global law firms, financial institutions and funds, large physician practices and accounting firms, located in major U.S. and international markets. Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Guide+Thrive’s products and capabilities
  • Learn and maintain a broad comprehension of client needs, market trends, industry challenges, key players and competitors, relevant products and technologies. Must be able to speak credibly about clinical, technical and financial aspects of Guide+Thrive’s services
  • Develop a detailed sales and account plan and process for review – including target client research on key stakeholders
  • Build the sales pipeline for our employer segment, consisting of large professional organizations.
  • Build relationships with prospect stakeholders, including Global HR and Benefits executives, positioning Guide+Thrive as a strategic engagement, retention and attraction solution
  • Manage business development and sales opportunities from qualification to close.
  • Maintain lasting relationships with key client stakeholder’s post-sale in an effort to anticipate their current and future needs
  • Regular and accurate pipeline maintenance and reporting
  • Meet or exceed robust quarterly and annual performance metrics / quotas
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine pitch, positioning, messaging and sales/product enablement collateral
  • Report on current market dynamics, competitors and feedback on product within target markets
  • Work cross-functionally across Guide+Thrive delivery teams to provide key market feedback on client and member needs
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business or healthcare related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience consultative sales in a B2B environment with complex enterprise level accounts, and proven track record of outperforming performance metrics and quotas
  • Experience successfully navigating the employer ecosystem (consultants, brokers, payers, TPA, etc.) to drive growth
  • Experience selling benefit and insurance products to large professional organizations including law firms, financial services institutions, physician groups and accounting firms
  • A general understanding of the challenges facing the U.S. behavioral healthcare delivery system
  • A general understanding of payer strategies related to behavioral healthcare
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
  • Proficient in using CRM technologies
